Brooke Watson earned a B.F.A. of Fashion Design in 2010 from the Savannah College of Art and Design. After moving back to her home town of Marietta, GA she started her career as a seamstress at a local bridal boutique. As her knowledge of the bridal industry grew so too did her passion for her brides and the stories behind their wedding gowns.
In 2013 Brooke was chosen as the Charleston Fashion Week Emerging Bridal Designer. There she debuted her own take on bridal with a collection of 12 gowns/separates. Brooke caught the attention of local stylists and was encouraged down the path of custom bridal. While planning her own wedding and designing her own one-of-a-kind full crocheted gown Brooke juggled working as a bridal seamstress, custom bridal designer, and designer of her very own future bridal line.
Starting this year Melanie Brooke Bridal will offer handcrafted wedding gowns made here in Atlanta, GA. Brides can set up appointments to meet with Brooke to discuss custom gowns, alterations, and soon the ability to try on the new bridal line.
Brooke currently lives with her husband Devin, son Rex, and their four legged little man Captain on the Historic Marietta Square in Georgia.
